The sixth edition of The International 3D Stereo MEDIA 2014 reached its apotheosis on 11 Dec evening, at the magnificent Theater of Liège, Belgium, with its traditional Awards Ceremony, presented jointly with EU 3D Stereo Media: The European 3D-Stereo Summit for Science, Technology and Digital Art Awards and the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society from Hollywood, Awards to honor the talents of 3D artists, scientists, and engineers. The International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society was founded by the Hollywood industry's creative stakeholders, including The Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, DreamWorks Animation (DWA), Sony, Paramount, IMAX, Dolby, Panasonic, MasterImage and others to advance the creative arts and sciences of stereoscopic 3D and 4K. With chapters in the U.S., China, Japan, Canada, the E.U. and the U.K., the organization has more than 1,800 professional members in over 20 countries active in improving the arts and technologies of 3D & Advanced Imaging, including High Dynamic Range, 4K/Ultra High Def and more. http://www.international3dsociety.com/
The International 3D Festival (I3DF) is an international film festival fully dedicated to "3D contents", i.e. to stereoscopic-3D (S-3D) video and immersive-3D audio. 3D Stereo MEDIA is recognized as one of the few places in the world where 3D experts can meet, exchange ideas, conceive projects, and conclude deals. The Society has conferred over 200 Lumiere™ Awards internationally, including celebrations in Hollywood, Tokyo, Beijing, Liége, Belgium, and Seoul.
