About ADM’s MA (Museum Studies & Curatorial Practices)
The MA in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices has been designed to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the management, administration, interpretation and development of heritage and the arts. It has been crafted specifically to nurture vision, knowledge and skills, which will serve, strengthen and transform the museum and gallery sector, as well government agencies.
Crafted following an extensive review and adaptation of international best practices - the programme is designed with a three track structure. This allows students, after a common core education, to specialise (if they wish to do so) in either Museum Studies or Curatorial Practices. It is also possible for students to pursue a general education by blending the two disciplines. Students can choose between a dissertation-track or a 10-week professional attachment at museums or art institutions based in Singapore or overseas.
